Cuba will always have our hearts

Due to the ongoing situation in Cuba, we have made the difficult decision to indefinitely suspend all vacation programs to Cuba across Sunwing Vacations. This was not a decision we made lightly.

There's a reason so many Canadian hearts feel at home in Cuba. Its people, its music, its beaches and its spirit have welcomed us back like family, year after year. Our thoughts are with the Cuban people facing an incredibly difficult time - particularly the resort staff, hoteliers and local partners whose warmth and dedication made every Canadian feel so genuinely welcome - and with every guest who holds this island dear.

Cuba cannot be replaced. It was never about just one thing. It was the feeling of white sand stretching further than you planned to walk. Local people who greeted you warmly without a script – and meant every word of it. The quiet satisfaction of knowing your dollar actually did something. Cuba had all of it.

You won't find another Cuba, but there are places across the Caribbean that capture some of the qualities travellers have always loved about the island.
