Before your destination wedding, you hosted a chic bachelorette party in Costa Rica. How was it?
It was incredible! My closest girlfriends and I and spent four days relaxing by the pool, drinking cocktails, dancing, yachting and having the time of our lives enjoying Costa Rica’s Pura Vida lifestyle!
It was my first time in Costa Rica and I fell completely in love with the country during my bachelorette party. I can’t wait to visit again with Bryan.
Did you always plan on hosting your bachelorette party in the tropics?
I had been planning my bachelorette party for years! I knew I wanted to celebrate surrounded by my closest girlfriends in a safe and beautiful place where we could just let loose and have fun and Planet Hollywood Beach Resort Costa Rica made it happen!
What did you think of Planet Hollywood Beach Resort Costa Rica?
The resort was calm, captivating and perfect for a tropical getaway! The facilities were stunning and the staff were friendly and accommodating. I especially loved the resort’s beachfront location. We also really enjoyed the à la carte restaurants which offered a variety of delicious cuisines and the lively bars. One night we even stumbled into the sports bar and turned it into a nightclub because the DJ was so good!
What was the most memorable moment from your bachelorette party?
The accommodations really made the party. I stayed in a gorgeous spacious Producer’s Suite that had plenty of room to host all 15 girls! Every night all of the girls would join me in my suite to play games, drink cocktails, dance and have sleepovers, like we were teenagers. We made so many memories that I’ll never forget.
Your yacht parties and snorkelling adventures looked amazing – what was your favourite bachelorette party event or activity?
The yacht was a huge hit. We spent the day cruising along the coast, taking in incredible views and dancing on board the yacht! We also loved docking to explore hidden caves, jumping into the ocean and snorkelling. Honestly, we could have stayed on the yacht all day!
Tell us about your ‘Camp Costa Rachel’ theme!
My theme, Camp Costa Rachel, was all thanks to my sister Constance. She is so creative and talented when it comes to event planning, she came up with the perfect theme and executed all of the details to make it come to life, including matching t-shirts and bags with a ‘Camp Costa Rachel’ logo!
Would you recommend celebrating your bachelorette party in destination?
Absolutely! It was amazing to experience Costa Rica with my girls and we made memories that will last a lifetime.
What advice would you give to brides or grooms considering throwing their bachelorette parties in destination?
